Who you are buying from
This website is operated by India Lance, trading as Revive the Runway — a United Kingdom based sole trader selling authenticated second-hand designer items. You can reach us at contactus@revivetherunway.co.uk or through the contact page, and we give our postal address with your order confirmation and on request.
The items
Everything we sell is second-hand and one of a kind. Each listing describes the specific item photographed, including its condition grade, measurements and any flaws we found — the flaw photos are part of the description. An item is sold once; when it is bought on any of our sales channels it is removed from the others.
Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling and are the total price for the item — nothing is added at checkout except the delivery charge you select. In accordance with the VAT margin scheme — second-hand goods, no VAT is shown or itemised on prices, listings or invoices, and no VAT invoice can be issued for margin-scheme sales.
Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's secure hosted checkout. We never see or store your card details. While you are in checkout the item is reserved for you; if the payment is not completed within the reservation window the item returns to sale.
How the contract forms
Completing checkout is your offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send the order confirmation email. If an item turns out to be unavailable (for example it sold on another channel moments earlier and could not be reserved), we will tell you promptly and refund the payment in full — no contract arises.
Delivery and risk
Delivery options, charges and dispatch times are listed on the shipping page and shown at checkout. The item is at our risk until it is delivered to you (or to a person you nominated to receive it); from delivery, risk passes to you. Ownership passes on delivery of the item.
Cancellations, returns and faulty items
As a consumer you have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase — how to use it, including the model cancellation form, is on the returns page. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: items must match their description, and given their second-hand nature be of satisfactory quality in light of that description — our condition notes and flaw photos form part of it.
Reviews
Reviews on this site are from verified buyers only: a review is accepted only against a purchase made with the email address the reviewer verifies with, one review per purchase. We do not pay for, incentivise or edit reviews, and we publish them regardless of rating. We remove reviews that are unlawful, abusive, contain personal data about others, or that we reasonably believe are not genuine. If you believe a review is fake or defamatory, contact us at contactus@revivetherunway.co.uk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also rely on the courts and mandatory consumer protections of your home nation.
